Aftercare instructions
-Healing time on average 2-3 weeks.
-Wash hands before touching tattoo.
-To remove tattoo bandage take a long hot shower to loosen the adhesive. Slowly remove bandage with soapy warm water. Wash 3-4 times a day with unscented anti-bacterial soap, like Dial or Dove dry with a paper towel.
-You will then apply a very thin layer of ointment, I recommend Tattoo Goo. Avoid petroleum based ointments, such as A&D or Aquaphor.
-After your tattoo is 5 days healed you can switch to an unscented lotion, I recommend Lubriderm or Aveeno. If it irritates the skin discontinue use.
-Stay out of direct sunlight and the gym till fully healed. Gyms are full of bacteria and leaves your tattoo at risk for infection.
-Do NOT swim, soak, or submerge under water until tattoo is fully healed. Showers are fine.
-Your tattoo will start to dry and try to create a scab. Keeping it clean and lubricated with ointment or lotion will keep it a soft scab that will shed off naturally as you wash it it through the healing time 2-3 weeks.
-Signs and symptoms of infection include, but are not limited to, severe redness, severe tenderness, red streaks going from the procedure site. Discharge from site may be green/yellow in color and a foul odor. site may be green/yellow in color and a foul odor.
